FAQs.

The honest answers, including the ones about leaving.

Do people need an account or an app?No. Anyone with the sending link can see the postbox and post their own: letters, photos, or voice recorded straight from the browser. Grandparents included. If they can open a link, they can post.
Is it private?Completely. Postboxes are unlisted, never indexed by search engines, and visible only to people you’ve shared the link with. Photos and voices are sensitive, so private is the default, not a setting.
Who can add to it, and can I remove things?Anyone you share the sending link with can post. You’re the curator: you can remove anything, at any time, and there’s no approval queue to babysit.
Do we have to keep it up for years? No. Most posts arrive in the first fortnight, on their own. That’s the best moment, and we never cap it. After that it’s there when a moment deserves keeping, and silent when it doesn’t.
When does my child actually get to read these?Whenever you decide they’re ready. Everything is yours to enjoy together from day one, and someday you hand over the key. Then they open the whole box themselves, oldest first, one at a time, starting from the very first days of their life.
How do we get back in if we lose the link?Your inbox is the key. Ask us for a way back in and we email you a link that signs you in on that device, for months. There is no password to create here, and nothing new to remember.
Why one payment, not a subscription?A keepsake shouldn’t have a meter running. You pay once, and nobody’s memories get switched off over a lapsed card.
Can I give one as a gift?Yes. Start the postbox in the baby’s name and we hand the keys to the parents. One gift, from you, filled by everyone who loves them.
What if we stop, or you do?Everything is downloadable in one click, always: every post, letter, photo and recording. If you cancel, you take it all with you. And if baby postbox ever closed, you’d get plenty of notice and the full export first. The posts are yours, not ours.

Three keys. No passwords.

Links are the keys. Each one opens a different door.

For the family

The sending link

See the postbox and post to it. Share it as widely as you like.

For you

The parent key

Curate, seal, download, hand over. It opens for your verified email address, and for nobody who simply has the link.

For them

The handover link

For your child, whenever you decide. Opens the posts oldest first.

Send me a way in

Tell us the email the postbox belongs to and we’ll send a link that opens it. No password needed.
